Welcome to Ms. Rodriguez's 6th Grade Science Class!
Welcome!
A little bit about me:
I started teaching Middle School English Language Arts since 2005. I am originally from NYC, and have BA in Journalism, with a MS in Education from Hofstra University. I have been teaching here at Sedgefield since 2015,and this is my 2nd year teaching Science. I love to travel and explore new places, I have been to 20 different countries so far, and my goal is to always travel internationally at least once a year. I am a huge animal lover, and my dogs are my loves, and have taught me so much about love, selflessness, and definitely patience. I volunteer at a local animal shelter here in Charlotte. I love to cook, and to keep active through running, yoga, hiking, kayaking, and anything that gets me outside. I am an avid reader of both fiction and non-fiction. I am also currently teaching myself the acoustic guitar. My friends and family are the most important thing to me, and help to keep me ground when life gets hectic.
I am looking forward to this upcoming school, and have lots of fun activities planned for our classroom. Here you can find my contact information, important information regarding assignments, assessments, fun activities in the classroom and important dates.
Sincerely
Ms. Rodriguez
